DVD rental//in the style of the library (It's a grown up review!)

...honey, it's slow. I've been last in line to check out "Once" for ummm a few months now? Because I do not own a Blockbuster or Netflix membership, because I like paying nothing for my DVD rentals...I wait. I wait impatiently. I wait and don't want anyone to tell me anything about films that have long since left the theatres (I don't pay for movie tickets either...I wait to win them at lame company events...companies I don't even work for anymore!)...
...
dot dot dot...
So I watched "Once". Yes, I know you've probably seen it. I know I'm usually a few paces back. I have a three year old. I watch and read a lot, okay? That's not the point. If there is one reader (is there just the one? I think I've got a few out there now...) that hasn't seen this film, please do your ears a favor and check it out. See if your local library has it. Or buy the thing. Or buy it for me! I'll come over and watch it with you. Buy me the soundtrack too, please! I'll listen to it with you.
The dialogue is few, and I will admit I had to put the subtitles on during a lot of it. The brogue was thick. Except during the singing. Oh, the singing. I'm going to go ahead and encourage you to check this out:

I sat there watching it with my jaw hanging open. Then the DVD started skipping! Another drawback of the library rental. I quickly did the brush cleaner thing (which took what seemed like forever...) and put the film back in for the last 5 minutes. Cuter than cute. The whole thing is cuter than cute.

Have a great Sunday, what's left of it.

Not only do I get all of my movies from the library, but I also pirate all of my music from there. Who needs Limewire or Bit Torrent when you you've got socialized institutions such as the library? Anyway, just checkin' out your blog. Hope all is well.
