There's something I'm doing that brings me so much hope that I'm afraid of fucking it up. I tiptoe around it instead of diving in. I dip one single tippy toe in the water, and the water doesn't feel cold but ooooooooooh so warm but I'm afraid if I fully submerge I'll turn the water cold with my imaginary bad luck.
