Clocks

"Home, where I wanted to go..."

When Xander was a newborn, Coldplay's song Clocks was all over the place. I used to put it on to calm the little guy down. Newborns get upset often. Culture shock, you know.

Today I heard it again, and it reminded me of that meeting of the dimensions afterglow I experienced for months after Xander was born. I suffered from pre-partum depression. I reveled in post-partum ecstasy. I still revel from time to time.
